Untitled
in the essence of nosebleed,
lost in its prime,
the tombstone will read
as follows:
“mistakenly made love
in the middle of
earth’s final
thunderstorm”
Untitled
god delivered this headache by
hand, told me
“i am whirlwind circle
turned equal sign,
water that reflects open sky,
reflects water,
reflects sky again
– the tide will carry you home,
too”
The above poems come from Maeby’s new poetry collection, Something Akin To. You can get your copy here.
